How Fate Atelier results are produced: random draws, date-stable generation, and simplified traditional rules.

Three result mechanisms

Different tools produce results differently. Know which kind you are reading.

• Random draws: tarot cards and fortune sticks open a fresh angle each time.
• Date-stable generation: daily horoscope and some daily cues stay consistent for the same day and input so you can revisit them.
• Simplified traditional rules: almanac, BaZi, Zi Wei, and Qi Men use cultural symbols with simplified logic—an experiential edition, not astronomy-grade charting.

Why same-day results may stay stable

For outlook-style content we intentionally seed by date so the morning line is still there in the afternoon—useful for reflection, not for refresh gambling.

Stability is a product choice, not a claim of live precise celestial calculation.

Data locality

Computation and interpretation run in the browser by default. History, favorites, and journal entries stay in local storage; there is no cloud account sync for those records.

Editorial principles

Detail pages (card meanings, dream symbols, stick readings) aim for distinct situations, misreads to avoid, and concrete next steps, always framed as entertainment and cultural reference.

Copy is revised over time; sitemap lastmod prefers content source dates instead of stamping every URL on each deploy.
